Unwritten is an immersive story platform for people who want to grow a language through listening, curiosity and understanding.
Stories first
Unwritten is not built around drills, flashcards, streak pressure or grammar explanations. It is built around stories: cafés, trains, villages, hidden places, human moments and worlds that invite you to keep listening.
The first shelves focus on Spanish, but the idea is language-neutral. The language is a setting. The experience is immersion.
Designed to be understood
We believe language is acquired through meaning. A good story can make new words feel clear through context, repetition and familiar surroundings.
When something unfamiliar appears, the goal is not to stop the experience and translate everything. The goal is to keep moving forward with the story until the language begins to make sense from inside the scene.
Personalised, not generic
Unwritten combines a curated library with personalised story creation. The library gives you beautiful places to begin. Personalised generation lets the platform create something that reflects your level, interests, preferred accent and listening style.
AI helps create and adapt listening experiences, but it should mostly disappear into the background. The focus is the story, the voice, the place and the gradual accumulation of real input.
The first shelves
The Unwritten Library is currently opening with a founding collection of showcase stories. Some are quiet and human. Some are curious and comic. Some lead into longer connected worlds.
Over time, the library will grow into a wider collection of languages, places, characters and immersive listening journeys.
